I've been wanting to run a Mutants and Masterminds game lately. But there hasn't been an opportunity lately. You see, I have it on PDF, and I'd need a place near a comp to play it. Which sucks, cause it's an awesome system.

They pushed Sky Captain Back. To mid-september. What the fuck? It's not like anyone didn't want to see it. Even people who've never read a pulp in their life wanna see it. So fuck you, paramount.

I think I did well on my SATs. I took them yesterday. Only problem was I became obsessed with the instructor's mouth. It jiggled in the funniest way when he spoke. Not the whole mouth, just the center. It was weird. And he was wearing a shirt that said "the Alaska Experience." Reminded me of the PA alaska ads.

It's 3:30 in the morning. I'm tired. I'm cold. I'm going to bed. But before I do, let me update you on the horrors I experienced today.

I've been working on my website all day. And everything that could've gone wrong has. First, I had no idea what I wanted the layout to be like.(I eventually decided on this) Then, I had no idea as to what I wanted my banner to be. And you know what? Still have no idea. Then, No matter what I did, the webpage wouldn't fit into an 800*600 page(it's an easy size to work with). I'm thinking about going frames, but that's really a last resort. I wanted a table, cause tables are easy to work with, but that kept coming up too large. I also tried downloading the system that runs slashdot.com, but I couldn't make heads or tails of it. So, now, I quit. I'm going to bed.

But, as I have promised, I'm back. Today was pretty uneventful. I saw the middle of the Crucible in English. I like my English class, cause the teacher is a pretty big geek. We go off on tangents a lot that the rest of the class doesn't understand. Cool class, overall. In other news...

THE WORLD OF RPGS
I'm pretty happy with how my new campaign, a message board game called "Heroes of Prestige & Power" is shaping up. It's a high power Tri-Stat DX fantasy game based around the concept that the PCs are the figures of legends, meant to do great deeds. I've already come up with a few cool storylines for these legendary heroes, so I'm pretty happy. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my other Tri-Stat game, The Great Beyond. It's a neat concept: The PC(the others dropped out) dies, winds up meeting the angel of death, and becomes a protector, in charge of guarding humanity from the various baddies beyond our world. I'm blocked for Ideas. I got nothing.

DEX DYNAMO: MAN OF ACTION... AND WRITING
I've started to write a script for a comic book. Granted, it will never leave my computer, but, hey, I'm bored, and Word is here, so I'm gonna write. It's an anthology comic based around the old 30s pulps. You know, flash gordon, buck rogers, the shadow, etc. I'll probably post excerpts here as I finish it. Well, I guess that's it.

It was a golf club, but the top broke off, so now it's like a cane, but a lot thicker. It's a masterwork baton of Badassitude is what it is.

I'm submitting my essay on why I shouldn't submit to litmag tommorrow in tutorial. It's a whole page, which is pretty shocking, considering... you know, the absolute crappiness of it. It's even more shocking that I've even made it seem like there is depth to it. All in all, I like it. It's like my pet emu. I love it like a dead, gay son.

My D&D campaign is coming along nicely. I came up with a bunch of magic items, and a few more Dungeon crawls to use. And with those ready, I'm pretty much done. Only problem I have is how do I present it? Horror? Pulp? World spanning Adventure? It's a perplexing puzzle.

Anything else? Hmm. Oh right. I forgot to tell you the ultimate spiral:

-I can't get money without a job.
-I can't get a job without a car.
-I can't get a car without a permit.
-I can't get a permit without going to driving school.
-And I can't go to driving school without money.
What.
I got a livejournal. My soul is blackening as we speak.

Well, I never thought I'd see the day, when I got a livejournal. You see, even as far as one week ago, I thought of livejournal as a sort of emo-hangout, where kids just sat, and posted about how depressed they were. But then, today, my ego took over and the thought came to my head: "I am way too important to keep my useless thoughts confined to my head. I want strangers to hear them!"

And here I am. Presenting my thoughts to random people who stumble across this page. I am a whore. I know. But I am the hippest whore on the scene right now, and that's how I intend to keep it!

So anyway...

I have a D&D campaign I have to have ready by Friday or Saturday, and I've never seen the group actually play. So I have no idea how they'll handle the storylines I've written up, and I have to make up some dungeon crawls just in case. So far, I've gotten, like 4.
-A standard Haunted house type scenario;
-A jail type situation made up of insane former adventurers;
-A hijacked steam engine;
-And the temple used to hold the key to infinity, an artifact used for planeshifting.
